Carrying the torch of Lenin and the Bolsheviks of The Great October Socialist Revolution of 1917, it is our duty as comrades to organize the youth of America to prepare them for the revolution and the socialist society that we will be building. Building youth organizations is a crucial part of allowing young adults to learn, act, and partake in mass organizations.
Remember, these youth are fighting for their future and that of their community - we must do everything in our power to facilitate their dreams for a better future.
Ages 8-13 - Octoberists
For the younger crowd, aged 8-13, we need to ensure that these members of the revolution have access to resources and training, specifically those focused on team-building, bonding, and skill development. We can do this by providing them with literature, movies, and other resources that will help them understand the history and importance of the revolution and the essential skills for participating in the revolution.
Additionally, we can provide them with opportunities to participate in youth-focused activities, such as first-aid trainings, gardening courses, cooking classes, self-defense training, and more to further their knowledge. All courses should contain practical information aimed at enhancing their understanding of our movement.
Finally, we should ensure that these children have access to mentorship from older revolutionaries and their peers to receive the guidance they need to become successful Komsomolets.
Ages 14-18 - Young Pioneers
For the intermediate age range, aged 14-18, we should focus on ensuring that they have access to the same resources as the younger children, but with some additional considerations based on their abilities and skillset.
We should provide them with opportunities to learn about the more advanced aspects of the revolution, such as organizing and activism, and give them access to the tools and resources needed to turn their knowledge into action.
We should also look for ways to develop their leadership skills, such as organizing events and activities, and providing them with the means to become advocates within their schools, sports, and other activity circles.
We should provide them with opportunities to take on leadership roles within the organization and to be actively involved in the revolution itself.
18-28 - Komsomol
For those aged 18-28, we should focus on providing them with the means to become full-fledged members of the revolution. As these members are of the working age, we need their enthusiasm and education about communism within their workplace. Komosmol members will be expected to educate, agitate, and infiltrate their workplaces to spread class consciousness within the ranks.
We should provide them with the tools and resources needed to accomplish these tasks, as well as access to the necessary materials to become productive members of the Komsomol. We will require their leadership skills to organize events and activities for their peers and younger comrades.
We need to provide them with the means to become advocates for their communities as well as fighters in the streets.
We should also provide them with access to peer mentorship, so that they can receive the guidance and advice they need to become successful and effective Komsomolets.
Komsomolets embody the spirit of the revolution, as it is their future they fight for. Ideal Komsomolets have a passion for learning and an urge to help their family, friends, and community.
