In my downtime, I’ve been searching for new images to modernize. When I say modernize, I take a poster created in the USSR, such as the one below, which reads, “The future is for communism!” That’s a nice phrase fitting for the time, but we face modern obstacles.
- The word communism still scares people
- We need people to read theory before we can even think about socialism.
As you can see above, I made this poster about learning and getting involved in the book club.

Here’s an earworm I’ve been tracking down for some time. Titled “Lenin, Party, Komsomol,” the song is better known by the name “Only in this way we will win” // «Только так победим». I had to begin the hunt anew after watching this May Day clip of the UK’s Young Communist League (YCL) chanting, “Lenin, Party, YCL!”
