Hi Comrades — I thought it might be interesting to list the material I’ve been reading and consuming this week. Maybe it will serve as an organizational method for me and something insightful for you. 🤞
Below, I talk about a book by Alexandra Kollontai, a podcast recommended by my friend Andrey, and articles on the Kazakhstan protests and the war in Ukraine.

📝 Articles
On the Kazakhstan protests:
- The linked article discusses the mass strikes in Zhanaozen and Mangistau, Kazakhstan, following the arrest of oil workers in Astana. It highlights the reasons behind the protests and the government's response to them.
- I wrote a brief summary of the event here: Kazakstan Protests
On the war in Ukraine:
- The linked article is a statement by the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) criticizing the World Anti-Imperialist Platform (WAIP) for its alleged support of imperialist powers and its lack of a clear anti-imperialist stance. The KKE argues that the WAP's position is harmful to the international communist movement and calls for a united front against imperialism. The article also discusses the KKE's own position on imperialism and the importance of international solidarity among communist parties.
