The Cadets, also known as the Constitutional Democratic Party, were a political party in Russia during the early 20th century. They were liberal and moderate in their ideology, advocating for a constitutional monarchy and democratic reforms. The Cadets were formed after the 1905 Russian Revolution and played a significant role in the Provisional Government established after the February Revolution in 1917. However, they were opposed to the Bolsheviks and their radical agenda, leading to their decline in influence during the Russian Revolution.
